Selected research context

Maquart and colleagues (1988) examined collagen synthesis in cultured fibroblasts exposed to GHK-Cu. The experiment measured a cellular response in a controlled culture system.

What this evidence does not establish

Cell-culture results do not establish clinical skin, hair or wound outcomes. Free GHK, copper salts and GHK-Cu complexes should not be treated as interchangeable test materials.

Original source

Selected reference checked 3 November 2026. This is an introductory reading guide, not a systematic review of all published evidence.

Read the evidence and the material record separately

Published research describes a specific material, model and study design. It does not certify the identity, purity or quality of a supplied vial. Compare the exact chemical form or peptide sequence, then review the study population, controls and endpoints. Any future TBL supply would require its own matching lot documentation and a separate release decision.

For research reference only. No medical advice, dosing or human-use guidance is provided.
